Educational Activities
The Department of Mechanical Engineering provides specialised courses at all levels of higher education and contributes to professional training courses for members of the Czech Armed Forces, as well as to the education of international students.
The Department’s teaching activities focus primarily on the study specialisations Combat and Special Vehicles, Aircraft Technology – Airframes and Engines, Airfield Technical Support, Weapons and Ammunition, Engineer Structures, and Air Defence Weapon Systems.
The Department’s academic staff teach courses in materials engineering, manufacturing technologies, engineering mechanics, machine design, metrology and quality management, fluid mechanics, thermomechanics, surface engineering, and other technical disciplines related to the design, manufacture, and operation of military equipment.
